10-Year Boiler Warranty – Terms & Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers the replacement or repair of your oil boiler and its associated components installed by Premier Boiler Services for a period of 10 years from the installation date, subject to the conditions outlined below.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for and maintain this warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Full System Powerflush
    A professional powerflush must be carried out by Premier Boiler Services immediately prior to installation to ensure the heating system is free from sludge, debris, and corrosion.
  2. Installation of Magnetic Filter
    MagnaCleanse or equivalent magnetic filter must be installed on the heating system during installation to protect the boiler from future debris and contamination.
  3. Annual Service Requirement
    The boiler must be serviced annually by Premier Boiler Services
    • Proof of annual servicing must be retained by the customer and may be requested to validate any warranty claim.
    • Failure to complete annual servicing will invalidate the warranty.
  4. Use of Approved Fuel and Parts
    Only kerosene oil and manufacturer-approved parts and consumables may be used during operation and servicing.

3. What the Warranty Covers

  • Replacement or repair of boiler components due to manufacturing defects.
  • Labour and parts directly related to the boiler unit and its installation.
  • Callouts related to boiler faults or breakdowns caused by manufacturing or installation defects.

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Pre-existing issues within the customer’s heating or plumbing system prior to installation.
  • Any plumbing or pipework issues inside the property, including leaks, blockages, radiator valves, or non-boiler components.
  • Damage caused by sludge, corrosion, or debris where a powerflush or magnetic filter was not installed or maintained properly.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or tampering with the boiler or controls.
  • Electrical faults or damage resulting from power surges or external wiring.
  • External components, such as pumps, zone valves, thermostats, time clocks, tanks, or external pipework.
  • Consequential loss, such as damage to property, water leaks, or loss of earnings.

5. Warranty Transfer

This warranty is linked to the property and may be transferred to a new homeowner upon request, provided servicing records are up to date and the transfer is completed within 30 days of property sale.

6. Making a Claim

To make a claim under this warranty, the customer must:

  1. Contact Premier Boiler Services directly with details of the issue.
  2. Provide proof of annual servicing and installation documentation.
  3. Allow reasonable access for inspection and repair.

If the issue is found to be unrelated to the boiler or not covered under this warranty, a standard callout and diagnostic fee will apply.

7. Limitations

  • The warranty applies only to installations completed and commissioned by Premier Boiler Services.
  • The warranty is valid only within the Republic of Ireland.
  • Premier Boiler Services reserves the right to withdraw or modify this warranty if conditions are not met.
